We were appointed by the University of Southampton to undertake a comprehensive refurbishment of the Sir James Matthews Building. The refurbishment works focused on upgrading the building’s mechanical and electrical systems throughout, with the aim of significantly improving efficiency and overall performance. All works were carefully planned and executed to minimise disruption, allowing the university to maintain full operational continuity during the project.
The Sir James Matthews Building, named after one of Southampton’s most prominent figures in education, continues to serve as a vital academic facility for the university, benefitting from the improved infrastructure and enhanced internal environment following the upgrade.
